LOCAL BP MS 150 TEAM RAISED MORE THAN $23,000 FOR MS RESEARCH
Mike Bertuzzi, cyclist and Celltex Therapeutics Team Lone Rider captain from Boerne, TX, crossed the finish line at the Circuit of The Americas in this year’s BP MS 150 event. He was supported by a group of virtual riders and fellow stem cell clients from across the Hill Country.
Bertuzzi, who experienced the amazing healing power of his own stem cells after receiving therapy to help recover from a fractured hip, rode in the 2018 BP MS 150 bike race in honor of Celltex.
This ride of a lifetime, which was on April 28 and 29, covered the 150-mile route between Houston and Austin. Mike’s campaign raised money for MS research and prevention and raised awareness of Celltex as an option for those suffering from MS. To date, Team Lone Rider has raised $23,823.
